Why Turning Pointe Dance Studio Sparkles
Top 5 Reasons to Choose Turning Pointe Dance Studio
Mission Statement
Our mission is to bring out the best in each student by providing quality dance education in a supportive and non-competitive environment.
Who We Are
We are a Christian-owned and operated studio that specializes in training a well-rounded dancer.
Our students learn the art of dance and the excitement of performance through age-appropriate costumes, song lyrics and dance movement.
We help prepare each student to achieve their own goals. Whether they want to be on a dance team, be a dance teacher, dance professionally or just want to dance for fun, we give them the training they need to meet these goals.
Our students build their futures one dance class at a time through proper technique, self-confidence, friendship, integrity and a sense of community. At Turning Pointe Dance Studio, our students learn more than just dance.
Where We've Been
We opened our doors in May of 2005 and have been blessed to see our studio family grow year after year. Here are just a few of our dancer’s accomplishments…
- We have produced five memorable recitals, Red Carpet Rhythm (2006), World Showcase (2007), Coconut Groove (2008), What's On Tonight? (2009) and Wishes and Dreams (2010).
- Our dancers performed at the 2007 AT&T Cotton Bowl Pre-Game and Half-Time Show.
- Our Dance Company performed at The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida in June 2007.
- Our Dance Company performed at the Thrive Dance Competition in Februrary 2009 and received High Gold scores and two First Place trophies.
- Our dancers were asked to perform at The Women of Flower Mound Fashion Show in April 2010. Our students saluted the troops in a high-energy routine, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.
Where We're Going
Over the last five years, we have seen our students grow and progress as dancers and as people.
We look forward to continuing our tradition of nurturing the whole dancer from head to toe, mind and soul.
